Fairways are generally wide so you can be aggressive off the tee, but accuracy still pays because bunkers and water are placed to punish careless drives.

Multiple ponds and strategically positioned fine sand bunkers demand conservative approach shots on certain holes to avoid big numbers.

The hilly routing includes uphill and downhill shots, so adjust club selection for elevation changes rather than relying solely on yardage.

Bentgrass greens are receptive to well-struck approaches but often have subtle breaks, so take time to read putts and control speed carefully.

Wind is usually light inland but can be gusty on exposed tees and ridges, so check conditions before choosing clubs and lines.
