The front nine is relatively flat and rewards precise tee and approach shots rather than pure distance.

The back nine has more undulation, valley crossings and doglegs, so careful club selection and conservative course management are important.

Bentgrass greens tend to be true—take care to control speed and read subtle breaks when putting.

On valley and carry holes favor hitting the required carry rather than trying to run the ball up, because elevation changes make distances deceptive.

Tree-lined pine corridors mean accuracy off the tee is at a premium, so prioritize fairway position over aggressive drives.
